**Introduction**

We’re seeking a young and ambitious **Accounting Manager** interested in working for a fast-growing medium-sized Cloud Accounting and Consulting practice in **Cape Town, Southern Suburbs**. This company leverages the latest cloud technology and automation to ensure business owners gain financial visibility into their business, provision for their tax obligations well in advance, and have the financial information that they need to achieve their business goals.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- To set a client portfolio to generate monthly management accounts and payroll related duties.
- Preparing accounting work relating to annual financial statements.
- Examine, analyse and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements (IFRS & IFRS for SMEs).
- Responsible for calculating VAT, PAYE and other necessary SARS requirements on a monthly basis.
- Managing, leading and supervising a small accounting team
- Liaising directly with clients to source new work for the accounting department.

**Desired qualifications and experience**
- Eligible or registered Chartered Accountant (SA) / CGMA
- Experience in supervising team members
- Continuous experience in an accounting practice environment is beneficial.
- Previous work experience in the Cloud Accounting and Automation space would be highly beneficial.

**Salary Expectations**:

- R37 500 - R50 000 p.m. (dependent on qualifications and experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R37,500.00 - R50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
