Cape Town, South Africa Junior Property Manager Full time

Supervises and assigns duty roster for Front Office and housekeeping.
- Conduct and ensure the neat appearance of staff as well as the correct attitude and behavior. Discusses problems with their Manager and provides solutions.
- Gives instructions to Front office for any deviations to procedure.
- Engage each guest as a unique individual and listens attentively to their requests
- Maintain prioritization and sense of urgency applied to all operational matters.
- Maintain data integrity in line with POPI Act and Legislation according to company policy.
- Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs of guests daily in the absence of a Guest Services Agent.
- Anticipate and address guest’s service needs in order to maintain superior company standards.
- Listening to guest’s complaints or concerns, resolving their issue in a timely manner in line with company standards.
- Learn and adhere to all emergency and health and safety procedures, including procedures for handling of fire equipment and ensuring guest safety and participate in an evacuation if necessary.
- Practice safe working habits, including bending and lifting appropriately to avoid injury, reporting hazards, appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and working to minimize tripping hazards.

Experience in the hotel industry with a strong knowledge of Cape Town.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance the service standards throughout the operation.
- Excellent communication skills with staff and stakeholders alike.
- Proven guest service and time management skills.
- Able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload.
- A team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of staff.
- Ability to work effectively in an innovative, fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Google and use of the internet.
- Ability to remain calm and positive throughout.
- Ability to innovatively solve problems and come up with solutions when they arise.
