Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- A master's degree in transport economics from a recognised university.
- Research experience and relevant publications in the field of transport economics; and/or
- At least three years' industry experience within the private or public sector; and/or
- Teaching experience within the field of transport economics.
- The ability to teach in a multilingual environment.
- 'n Meestersgraad in vervoerekonomie van 'n erkende universiteit.
- Navorsingservaring en toepaslike publikasies op die gebied van vervoerekonomie; en/of
- Minstens drie jaar se bedryfservaring binne die privaat of openbare sektor; en/of
- Onderrigervaring binne die gebied van vervoerekonomie.
- Die vermoë om in 'n veeltalige omgewing onderrig te gee.

**Daar kan van kandidate op die kortlys (diegene wat vir 'n onderhoud genooi word) verwag word om 'n lesing oor 'n aangewese onderwerp aan te bied aan lede van die Departement Logistiek.**

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- Specialisation areas: Transport and Economic Development; Transport Competition and Regulation; Urban, Regional and Spatial Economics; and Internasional Trade.
- Adequate knowledge of transportation modes: road, aviation, maritime, rail and pipeline.
- Key skills include forecasting; economic evaluation and spatial and transport data analytics and transport modelling.
- Spesialisasieareas: Vervoer en Ekonomiese Ontwikkeling; Vervoerkompetisie en -regulering; Stedelike, Streek
- en Ruimtelike Ekonomie; en Internasionale Handel.
- Voldoende kennis van vervoermodusse: pad, lugvaart, maritiem, spoor en pyplyn.
- Sleutelvaardighede met inbegrip van vooruitskatting; ekonomiese evaluering en ruimtelike en vervoerdata-analise en vervoermodellering.
- Praktiese kennis van GIS-toepassings.
