**480,000**

**Job Type**:
**Permanent**

**Reference**:

**Job Summary**: Are you ready to be part of a well-established development powerhouse in Johannesburg's inner-city?

Our client has a long history of success in the Johannesburg CBD and boasts an impressive retail, commercial & mixed-use portfolio consisting of more than 40 buildings. They have an extensive record of buying, renovating and selling properties and take pride in managing their entire portfolio and facilities in-house. To join their multi-faceted team, they are seeking a dynamic individual to drive their collections and assist in all manner of legal advisory and drafting work.

Reporting to the Director, this role will be based, full-time, in their high-quality offices in the Marshaltown. While approximately 80% of the role will require spearheading their rental collections function, you will also need to manage crucial litigation requirements and assist the development and facilities teams. This will involve drafting of legal agreements such as offers to purchase, assisting with contract vetting & negotiation with a variety of SLAs, as well as providing support to the development team. In short, a strong grasp of legal frameworks within the property sector, coupled with a keen eye for effective collections strategies will be central to excelling in this role.

They are seeking an admitted attorney with 2 to 3 years of post-admission experience, ideally within the property industry. Experience in managing legal aspects of property leasing, rental agreements, and keeping up to date with changes within the property-related litigation sphere will be highly advantageous. That said, would suit any legal professional who is detail driven & who can run a tight ship in large commercial rental spaces.

If you're passionate about the legal intricacies of the property sector, adept at collections strategies, and have demonstrated commitment to seeing a task through to completion, submit your CV today.
