Intake Specialist for Law Firm

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intake to join our reputable l law firm. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the initial stages of client intake and case evaluation. Your exceptional communication skills and strong attention to detail will contribute to providing excellent client service and ensuring a smooth intake process. **Responsibilities**:

- Documentation: Accurately record and maintain detailed information in the firm's database, ensuring that all client details, case summaries, and relevant documents are properly organized and easily accessible.
- Case Evaluation: Conduct preliminary evaluations of potential cases by reviewing medical records, analyzing key facts, and identifying potential legal issues to determine the viability of pursuing legal action.
- Client Communication: Communicate with potential and existing clients in a compassionate and professional manner, answering their inquiries, providing updates on case status, and explaining the firm's services and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient case management, providing them with comprehensive client intake summaries and assisting in gathering additional case-related information as required.
- Follow-up: Maintain ongoing communication with potential clients, ensuring that all necessary documents and information are obtained to facilitate their cases and addressing any concerns they may have during the intake process.
- Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of the firm.

Qualifications:

- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in a similar role within a law firm or legal environment, particularly in the law field, is highly desirable.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for professional client interaction, as well as clear and concise documentation.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness when collecting and recording information, ensuring no critical details are overlooked.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and Compassion: Display empathy and compassion when interacting with potential clients, recognizing the sensitivity of their medical situations and providing reassurance and support.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintain strict client confidentiality standards.

Pay: R150.00 - R250.00 per hour
