**The IIE's Varsity College, Westville has a vacancy for a Part time lecturer within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences for the below modules**:

- Psychological Assessment (PSPA8111)

**Competencies required**:

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Assertiveness and dynamism
- Understanding of customer service in education
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Community-Based Counselling, Industrial Psychology, or a closely related field (or a Doctorate in one of these areas) OR
- Registration as a qualified Psychometrist with a Master's degree in a Psychology-related field.

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Work experience as a Psychologist in the Clinical, Counselling, Research, Educational contexts etc.
- Lecturing/Tutoring experience in the above-mentioned module (at least at Honours level).
- Experience in conducting psychotherapy and psychological assessments.

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.
- Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
