This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the School Enrichment Programme.

**Programme Development**
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Learner and Facilitator On-site support and Monthly Training Initiatives.
- Facilitator onsite support:

- Take overall responsibility for the SEP external staff development, guiding them to proficient their skills when possible.
- Educate facilitators on multigrade teaching.
- Present model lessons that promote positive discipline (reward system).
- Research and develop training material.
- Research and develop resources that can be used for multigrade teaching.
- To monitor intervention strategies (SEN Support) and provide feedback to the SEN Coordinator.
- Present training on effective classroom management.
- Present on-site training to the SEP facilitators on life skills initiatives and activities.
- To create, implement and review staff development plans for the SEP facilitators.
- To take overall responsibility in advising the SEP facilitators with the layout of the SEP centre.
- To organise the collection of all SEP registers on a monthly basis and to inform the SEP Programme Manager of any discrepancies in this regard.
- To act as an intermediary and to ensure the effective roll out of all SEP services on the assigned cluster of farms.
- Facilitate and attend Monthly Training

**Learner Support**:

- Assist with homework and tutoring.
- Implement curriculum differentiation and conduct assessments.
- Design and implement positive discipline strategies.
- Identify barriers to learning and gather background information.
- Refer learners who require additional support to the relevant specialists (Social Worker and/or Special Education Needs Manager)
- Arrange and facilitate parent meetings.
- Conduct SEP inductions.
- Inventory counts for all educational resources.
- Assist with the identification of learners with learning difficulties and refer individual cases to the SEN Programme Manager.
- Liaise with the assigned schools on the curriculum matters as well as exam schedules.
- Present any other initiatives as requested by the SEP Programme Manager.

**SEP Staff Development**
- Assist and conduct the necessary HR processes with the Pebbles SEP facilitators, as well as with SEP facilitators on the farms’ behalf.
- Manage the leave administration of the SEP facilitators.
- To take overall responsibility for the monthly SEP facilitator evaluations.
- To conduct quarterly employee performance development meetings with the SEP facilitators.
- To assist the SEP Programme Manager with arranging the SEP facilitator and learner year end functions.

**Requirments**
- 2 years experience in Teaching
- Tertiary Qualification in Education
- SACE Registered
