Instrumentation Mechanician

Perform Schedule/Preventative maintenance tasks to minimize plant down-time.
- Do improvements, new installations and modifications to plant & equipment.
- Respond to machinery breakdowns.
- Ensure safe operation of plant & equipment.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks.
- Must be prepared to work overtime and standby as and when required.
- Must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings.
- Proven planning & fault-finding ability.
- Must be able to obtain a certificate of fitness.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- N3 Instrumentation qualification with trade test.
- Trade test certificate (red seal).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings.
- Must have sound knowledge of the principals of flow, pressure, temperature and level measurement.
- Knowledge of bus systems, profi bus, ASI bus and Fieldbus foundation bus would be advantageous.
- Burner experience will be advantageous.
- ABB freelance experience will be advantageous.
