**Heavy Machine Operator**

**(CAT, Vermeer, Bobcat, front-end-Loader)**

Manoeuvring motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials.
Observing stipulated safety codes at all times.
Reporting injuries and other accidents to the manager/supervisor.
Advising your manager/supervisor of requisite upgrades, repairs, and replacements.
Drive and control the equipment
Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property.
Perform safety checks and daily checks of oil, diesel, tyres, etc before switching the machine on every morning.
Perform other duties, as and when assigned

**Skills and Abilities**
Relevant training certificate
Ability to communicate and interact both verbally and written
Ability to complete work duties on time and in an effective manner

Can work independently with minimum supervision

**Requirements**:
Minimum level of education: Grade 12 /N4 (Matric)

Years of experience: 2

Driver's license: C1 ,EC

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: R23.19 per hour
