- Previous visual presentation experience within retail: proven trader mentality
- Previous experience working in multi-brand retail environments
- Proven management experience of teams
- minimum 3 years
- Understanding of the importance of customer experience at retail
- Understanding of buying cycles and how to showcase seasons at trade marketing level
- A strong team player
- able to influence at senior management levels
- Project management skills: Able to consecutively manage multiple projects from start to finish
- Able to managing external partner relationships and collaborating across functions - client service
- Able to travel and maintain flexible schedule
- A detailed and methodical approach to work
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and follow through
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Strategic thinking: Able to identify opportunities and initiate / recommend solutions
- Strong consumer focused thinking: Understand the nature of sport from an athlete or supporter point of view
- Driven to deliver on targets and KPIs
- Active and engaged on social media
- Engaged in pop culture and SA market place
- Computer literate - PowerPoint + Excel (basic Photoshop a benefit)

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Deliver the Visual Merchandise & Brand Presentation strategy on time, in time and in full
- Lead the Visual Merchandise team to execute the strategy on time, in time and in full
- Management of the Visual Merchandise team at Head Office, in Field and in store
- Deliver the Seasonal Housing, Merchandising and Brand Presentation at Retail
- Deliver the Brand Presentation and Execution with Brand Partners
- Launching trade marketing campaigns with Brand Partners
- Launching trade marketing campaigns for Sportscene
- Deliver and facilitate the Visual Display support for New Store openings
- Management of Group Store Development and Suppliers for New Stores
- Maintenance of standards and experience at stores working to set KPIs
- Deliver communication to stores to support strategy
- Sourcing and production of required elements to support VM projects
- Management of project budget and adhere to guidelines
- Effective communication and liaising with staff at head office and store level
- Collaboration with the Marketing Manager, Brand Manager: Ecommerce & Digital Marketing to deliver on the marketing strategy
- Reports directly to the National Visual Manager
