The transport division seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Controller to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, maintaining strong customer relationships, and upholding compliance with safety and operational standards. Imports and exports experience is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Transport Planning & Coordination**
- Collaborate with departments and service providers to create and implement delivery plans.
- Accurately book vehicle and trailer combinations.
- Send detailed transport instructions to approved transport suppliers.
- Ensure NAVIS is updated with accurate bookings and queries for import/export containers.
- Communicate with relevant Warehouse Supervisors on load capacity and delivery plans.

**2. Customer Relationship Management**
- Provide consistent support throughout the container movement process.
- Handle customer queries or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Send tracking and status updates to customers.
- Ensure accurate proof of delivery (POD) documentation is provided.
- Leverage customer feedback for continuous improvement.

**3. Health, Safety & Compliance**
- Promote and uphold a healthy and safe working environment.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Verify valid GIT cover before dispatching shipments.
- Ensure all transport suppliers meet customer site safety requirements and Hazchem/NRTA compliance.

**4. Administration & Reporting**
- Maintain secure and efficient filing systems.
- Accurately capture transport details in the Anchor load book.
- Update transport recovery schedules and process supplier invoices in line with KPIs.

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in transport logistics or a similar field preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of NAVIS, load booking, and transport legislation is an advantage.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.

**Job Type**: Permanent
