**Client, a world class engineering manufacturer**, **URGENTLY seeks a an internal sales representative with 2-3 years internal sales experience within a technical environment**

**Experience / Criteria**
- Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Keeping up to date with product information.
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
- Explaining features of products.
- Staying informed about competing products.
- Upselling products.
- Researching and qualifying new leads.
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
- Daily inventory check on ERP System, reporting to Global Sales Manager on any shortages.
- Preparing and following up on quotations as requested by the Sales team.
- Reporting on RFQ conversion rate to Global Sales Manager
- Communicating with Receiving and Inventory department on status of deliveries.
- Preparation of documents and receiving of payments for Counter Sales.
- Communicating with (Storeman) on what needs to be prepared for collection for Counter Sales.
- Communication with Customers on order status.
- Assess basic competitors by analysing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Follow-up and resolution of outstanding Purchase Orders on a weekly basis reporting all findings to Global Sales Manager
- 2-3 years experience within a technical environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to achieve targets
