**The Pharmacist role will impact on**:

- Responsible for the Quality Management System, adhering to SA GMP
requirements and Global Quality Policies and Procedures.
- General dispensing of nutraceuticals and other medicines as per doctor’s script.
- To provide support to the business by timeous review of products for release
- Responsible for Quality Complaints investigations
- To review and authorize non-conformance reports, change controls, and complete
Master Batch Documentation Review.
- To ensure that the QA Database is accurately maintained.
- Responsible for the Product Quality Reviews
- Review and approve quality documents e.g., BMR, Specifications, SOPs
- Assist in the creation and implementation of SOPs.
- Reconciliation of controlled substance register
- Manage the materials or product batch dispositions in line with South Africa
Product Regulatory Authority (SAPHRA) requirements.
- Release of 3rd party manufactured goods to Holder of Certificate of Registration
(HCR)
- Ensure facility compliance for facility and laboratory audits (self-inspections)
- Implement and maintain all elements needed to ensure compliance with the
Quality Assurance Principles and Systems as per GMP, ICH Q10 and Mylan Global
requirements as applicable.
- Provide GMP and other relevant training to the facility.
- Review executed BMR & BPR from manufacturing and packaging departments.
- Writing, reviewing, and approving QA documentation.

**The Pharmacist role will impact on**:

- BPharm Degree and registration as a Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, with knowledge and interest in production
(preferably in an OSD facility) and QA.
- Knowledge of Internal audits and/or authority inspections
- Technical report writing
- Experience with Compiling, Reviewing, and Approving quality documents e.g.,
Master Documents and SOPs
- Experience in other departments will be advantageous e.g., validation, warehouse.
- Manage the QMS system including change control, GMP deviations, technical
agreements, quality risk assessments, customer complaints, periodic reviews, self
- inspections and external audit reports, and SOPs.
- Provide QA guidance, and support to other departments to ensure product and
facility compliance.
- Knowledge of all relevant Acts, legislations, and guidelines that govern the
Pharmaceutical Industry
- Thorough knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Make rational decisions by GMP and local Standard Operation Procedures
- Good attention to details
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity and a strong work ethic
