Key to your success as our Payroll Administrator, is to follow internal processes to conduct payroll activities while translating the company vision and values into day-to-day activities and guiding others to take the appropriate action steps.

You’ll be required to demonstrate personal commitment to stakeholders by fulfilling responsibilities, following agreements, involving others and removing obstacles to shared accomplishments; implementing corrective measures, improvements in the implementation of work processes, systems, procedures to improve payroll compliance and control.

You should be highly organised and set a standard of excellence in everything that you do. Don’t be mistaken, although we’re looking for someone who plays by the rules, we aren’t looking for a machine.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Reviewing and updating effective internal controls to maintain accurate processing
- Ensuring all third-party payments are processed accurately and on time
- Providing Finance with the relevant Reports, Payroll Journals, GL Reconciliations
- Ensuring efficient and timely completion of the payroll tax year end function
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders
- Coaching and supporting the payroll team in their day to day activities
- Engaging with our internal customers and provide an excellent level of customer service.
- Ensuring all payroll cycles across all regions and pay frequencies are executed timely and accurately
- Effectively leading and motivating the team of Payroll Executives in SA
- Mentoring and coaching direct reports
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with client contacts and key business partners
- Facilitating and joining conference call meetings with colleagues across the globe
- Highlighting areas of improvement to maximise efficiency
- Managing the relationship between Third Party Payroll vendors (PEO’s) and Webhelp.
- Compiling Monthly Global Payroll Reporting
- Supporting with forthcoming system implementation projects.
- Reviewing and maintain all current Payroll Process documentation
- Ensuring compliance in data protection legislation eg GDPR

**What you’ll need**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written (English Required)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- Minimum BA/BS Degree - Accounting, Business Management or Payroll Management
- Minimum 5 years’ payroll experience with a minimum of 2 years in a management capacity
