Qualifications and Experience:

- Related tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years FMCG experience
- Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in account and sales management
- Experience in marketing will be advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

Key Performance Indicators for this role:

- Building and maintaining successful business relationships with principals as well as Key Account Managers.
- Ensure that collaborative relationships are a priority across all stakeholders.
- With close co-operation from National Key Account managers, ensure that Business Objectives and Principal strategies are in alignment.

Job Summary (but not limited to):

- Building and maintaining successful business relationships with principals.
- Assist in formulating Principal strategy and delivering commercial and marketing plans.
- Ensure that advertising spend, pricing, promotions, ranging and new product listings are in alignment with Principal objectives and forms part of individual Key Account Plans.
- Annually develop a comprehensive account plan with Principals to deliver on set account & channel KPI’s.
- Analyze monthly Market Data to gain insights into relative categories, as well as identifying gaps and opportunities within key accounts.
- Monitor competitor activity.
- Compile and review performance of account plans incorporating competitor, category and shopper dynamics in order to deliver maximum sales volumes.
- Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to Principals according to agreed requirements.
- Ensure that Key Account Managers implement the agreed pricing policies.
- Ensure that Promotional plans are implemented as per the agreed annual commercial and marketing strategy.
- Monitoring expenses and keep record of all monies spend, ensuring all are in line with agreed budgets.
- Assist Principals with planning and preparation of monthly meetings as per set collaborative strategies.
- Assist with forecasting and monitoring of risks related to stock, while ensuring that service levels are above agreed parameters.

Pay: R50,392.61 - R60,594.40 per month
