We are recruiting for a **Technology Architect**role, on a 24-month contract.

**Key Performance Areas**
- Technology Architecture Planning.
- Facilitate establishment of Architecture Standards and Policy.
- Develop EA standards, data architecture standards, EA governance frameworks and system integration standards.
- Microsoft Office 365.
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
- Mobile Device Management
- Base server Hardware, OS & Virtualization
- Backups
- Cloud AWS & Microsoft Azure
- Provide expert advice to project teams on the use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, system architecture including integration, and best practices.
- Leads the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement. In addition, the analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise as well as on the enterprise technology architecture.
- Defines high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the future and current state, typically in sync with the IT budgeting or other capital planning processes.
- Manage internal resources as well as augmented or externally sourced team members.
- Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures.
- Develop conceptual infrastructure or technology and security architecture.
- Perform advisory service to business on solution building blocks.
- Develop infrastructure or technology architecture portfolio.
- Identifies existing business risks related to the implementation of hardware & infrastructure design.
- Draw up risk mitigation plan.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policy, standards and procedures and processes.
- Keep up to date with effective policy and practice execution strategies.
- Prepare and submit regulation reports as and when required to provide progress updates and/or inform management decisions.
- Develop functional reporting systems for management, projects or performance reporting.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers or procurement teams and ensure that all relevant procured items are invoiced and paid on time.
- Communicate with all levels of stakeholder contact.
- Represent the Fund in relevant external activities and events.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/ BSC Computer Science related qualification.
- TOGAF certification will be advantageous
- Relevant 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience in enterprise infrastructure planning and provisioning environment.
- Cybersecurity experience will be an advantage.
