We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to lead our Student Support Services as the Director. In this role, you will oversee the provision of essential administrative support services to our diverse student body. Your primary responsibility will be to orchestrate the complete student support value chain, ensuring the seamless delivery of top-tier administrative services that enhance the student experience from enrolment through to graduation.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
3 or more years of experience in student services and operational management within higher education.
Familiarity with learning management systems, either from a developmental or administrative perspective.
Proven track record of 3-5 years in senior management within the higher education sector.
Comprehensive understanding of the student value chain within higher education.
Proficiency in academic planning, assessment processes, and best practices.
Experience navigating regulatory affairs and ensuring academic quality assurance within the higher education landscape.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Spearheading the orientation of new students and furnishing them with comprehensive information resources.
Managing the administrative aspects of distance learning, from registration logistics to graduation requirements.
Responding effectively to student queries, providing efficient resolutions, and facilitating student consultant services.
Collaborating closely with academic faculties, the Dean, and the Faculty to coordinate academic administration services, academic calendar alignment, and operational synergies.
Overseeing library services to ensure that students have access to vital resources.
Playing a pivotal role in graduation ceremonies and certification processes.
