**The Role**

**Requirements** Qualifications required to fulfil the role**
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems related field.
- SAP Certification.
- Project Management certification would be advantageous.

**Specific Work Experience, Knowledge and Skills required to fulfil the role**
- Atleast 5 years of demonstrated **management** experience leading **SAP functional and technical** teams.
- Experience of running simultaneous projects in either waterfall or agile methodologies.
- Strong SAP experience in Record to Report, Order to Cash, Logistics, Plan to Manufacture, Procure to Pay, Data Management, and Testing.
- Multi-vendor management experience.
- Experience in solving high complexity business challenges leveraging existing or emerging technologies.
- Good understanding of architectural principles including performance, scalability, security, availability, flexibility,and how to design for them.

**Additional Requirements** Key Accountabilities**
- Lead internal and external teams to deliver Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects and continuos business improvement solutions.
- Oversees the solution development lifecycle process, including configuration, development, changes, testing, and documentation, then transition to production, including project management, change management, communication with stakeholders, cutover tasks, production support and impact to customers.
- Champion and direct adoption of appropriate policy, standards, processes and guidelines, enabling business process standardization and automation.
- Provide advice on technical aspects of system development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly.
- Manage and building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Maximize usage of SAP across the company by collaborating both within Africa region and globally within Group Digital & IT.
- Key user community coordination.
- Cultivate and drive innovation through sustainable Green IT solutions.
- Provides metrics and statistics to measure the operational effectiveness of the team.
- Provide input to project assessments and initiation by articulating scope, risks and estimates.
- Ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreement targets.
- Mentors team, measures performance and develops team.
- All such duties and/or activities assigned by management as and when required.
