**Job Advert Summary**:
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and self-motivated School Clothing Store Manager to oversee the daily operations and long-term planning of our school clothing store. This role involves managing all aspects of the store's functionality
- from inventory control and supplier management to customer service.

As the face of the uniform shop, you'll provide an essential service to our families and staff, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and supported, especially during busy times of the year.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 2- 3 years' experience in retail or shop supervision
- A flair for organisation, accuracy, and customer service
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge (including MS Outlook, Goolgle, inventory software, and spreadsheets (Pastel experience will be advantageous)
- An ability to manage your time and workload independently
- A calm, practical, and personable approach
- even during peak seasons
- Physical ability to move stock and keep displays fresh and functional
- A willingness to work flexible hours during start-of-term and seasonal busy periods

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Competencies required: Good interpersonal skills, telephone skills, attention to detail, numerical competence, customer service orientated, flexible, friendliness, ability to prioritise work and a high stress tolerance
- Managing day-to-day retail operations, from** stock control to sales**:

- Managing day-to-day** Learning and Teaching Support Materials**:

- Overseeing both new and second-hand uniform processes
- Liaising with suppliers and school teams to maintain quality and availability
- Guiding and supporting staff or volunteers with care and clarity
- Creating and maintaining an organised, clean, and friendly retail space for our community
- Supporting the Finance Team with accurate reporting and reconciliation of daily sales (cash, credit card slips and eft)
- Reconciliation of the cash and handover to the Bursar at the end of each day
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required and adapt to the dynamic nature of the school environment.
