Overview: As the Regional Administration Manager for Spar SaveMor you will oversee administrative operations across multiple retail stores within the designated region. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure efficient and effective administrative support to optimize store performance.
- Provide leadership and supervision to administrative staff across multiple retail stores, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement standardized administrative procedures, policies, and systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across all stores.
- Oversee store-level administrative tasks, including payroll processing, scheduling, employee records management, and compliance with labour regulations.
- Manage store budgets and expenses related to administrative functions, including office supplies, equipment maintenance, and utilities.
- Coordinate with corporate headquarters and other departments to facilitate communication, share best practices, and ensure alignment with company initiatives and objectives.
- Monitor and analyse administrative performance metrics, such as payroll accuracy, staffing levels, and administrative expenses, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards related to HR, finance, and administrative operations, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for administrative issues, inquiries, and escalations from store managers, employees, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate administrative support for store openings, closures, renovations, and special projects, working closely with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess administrative processes, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance and support to store teams.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to administrative activities, including payroll reports, employee files, and compliance records.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development opportunities for administrative staff.
