**Operations & Maintenance Site Manager - Solar PV (M/F/d)**: full time - unlimited

**Your Tasks**:
**Objectives**
As the O&M Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance and operations activities of the Solar Capital De Aar plant, including managing the personnel on the plant.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate all maintenance and operation initiatives activities and ensure such are carried out in compliance with the company’s goals and objectives
- Conduct all contract administration functions for work on site
- Be responsible for the implementation of JUWI´s SHE policy and procedures.
- Compile and submit reports to O&M Administrator for submission to the client
- Monitor the plant in coordination with JUWI O&M monitoring in Cape Town and Greece
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics on all PV equipment and assist all zone supervisors in this regard
- Ensure maintenance and repair on all PV equipment are carried out timeously and on the set schedules
- Ensure the accurate and on time execution of all scheduled services, as per the approved FOP, as well as unscheduled maintenance activities
- Conduct inspections and mini audits to ensure the continuous compliance of the O&M on the site
- Conduct weekly inspections of the HV substation, switching yard and surrounding areas
- Conduct weekly inspections of all facilities, buildings, stores etc.
- Oversee the Security service provider and train personnel on use of the camera system
- Conduct / oversee all HV switching activities
- Manage the Zone Supervisors on site
- Manage all sub-contractors on site
- Ensure Zone Supervisors have the required tools and know-how to perform tasks
- Interact with Client Representative on site

**Your Profile**:
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Qualified Electrician
- N3 or higher
- At least 10 years’ experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance
- Previous site management experience in remote locations
- Good people management and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain in control and perform effectively under pressure
- Computer literate - MS Office
- Good administrative skills
- Prepared to work shifts/overtime when required
- Physically fit and able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s license
