**DUTIES WITH RESPECT TO MANAGEMENT**:A centre manager wears two hats: a manager and a tutor. As a tutor, all the duties pertaining to a tutor applies to the manager. As a manager, the manager needs to mentor, coach and train tutors to ensure that the tutors can adhere to their duties as a tutor, and as manager doing the controls and checks to ensure that the duties of the tutors are carried out effectively.
**DUTIES WITH RESPECT TO TEACHING**: Being a tutor, or a person with Matric Mathematics and/or Science is a pre-requisite for this job. As we train our staff, we do not necessarily require Math or Science Teachers. You must also have the ability to get on with young people and be well - groomed with an attitude to get involved in every aspect of the business. Master Maths is a mathematics and science tutoring enterprise where students are taught Mathematics from grade 4 to 12 and Science from grade 10 - 12. Students are given oral & written tests at all lessons and re-enforcement exercises or modules to complete at home. A good deal of teaching is done audio-visually; however, often more personal contact is required. This requires an ability to explain and a pleasant and enthusiastic personality.
