**JOB SUMMARY**:
**Main Purpose of Position**:
The primary responsibility of a Microsoft Product Manager Intern entails providing crucial support to the brand team in the efficient execution of activities aligned with Microsoft's strategic objectives and targets. The main objectives of the role will include:

- Managing internal upsell/cross-sell activities with partners.
- Running internal campaigns with the reseller for net new customer acquisition (NCA)
- Supporting the brand team with Partner Profiling and upselling of Microsoft Services
- Coordinating CSP licensing renewals processes between the brand, sales, and the reseller

The role effectively works alongside all the existing functions and roles in the company with a focus on enhanced customer experience.

The role is to continuously improve the service levels by being the interface between the customer, Sales and Brand stakeholders. Supporting the brand team with the execution of multiple internal activities to increase the wallet of the Partner with us as the Distributor. They ensure a strong working relationship between the internal sales team, brand team members and partners by serving as an internal advocate and client liaison.

**PERFORMANCE STANDARDS**

**Operational Administration**
- Executing and adhering to Internal Sales Team processes and initiatives in accordance with a documented Operational Plan
- Respond to Partner within 2 hours of receiving a request for a quotation or query.
- Working alongside the Account Manager (AM) in landing key brand activities and projects.
- Work with the Brand Portfolio and Product Managers and AMs in executing the activities with the Partner and tracking each project.

**Renewals**:

- Identify renewals and work with the AM/Partner to be proactive in renewing the deal with their customer.
- Support the partner with a ‘demo’ quote and highlight the credit that will be required to place the order.
- Coordinate all renewals expected or flag renewals that will not land with FD (reporting required to Brand Executive).

**Pipeline Management**:

- Pull the pipeline report weekly on quotes processed for the past 3 weeks.
- Follow up on all quotes processed internally or by the Partner with AM and coordinate the feedback and expected deal closure.
- Share weekly reporting with Portfolio Manager and Brand Executive for feedback to the vendor.
- Supporting the brand team in identifying new partner recruit opportunities (NPA).
- Lead qualification on campaigns and managing feedback and reporting.
- Perform any general administration duties in line with previous capabilities and competencies.
- Working closely with AMs for the onboarding of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Execution of internal upsells and cross-sell activities, campaigns
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external senior-level management to understand customer needs, maximize retention and growth, and communicate learnings

**Brand Responsibilities**
- **Software License Renewals**: Manage the entire software license renewal process, including tracking renewal dates, initiating communication with customers, negotiating terms and pricing, and ensuring timely renewal execution.
- **Product Upsells**: Identify and leverage upselling opportunities within existing customer accounts to maximize revenue. Collaborate with sales teams to develop upselling strategies and initiatives.
- **Licensing Advisory**: Learn how to provide expert licensing guidance and advisory services to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. Stay up to date with licensing trends, industry regulations, and best practices to offer strategic recommendations and ensure compliance.
- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for licensing-related queries, concerns, and escalations.
- **License Optimization**: Learn how to analyze software usage patterns and license entitlements to identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings. Recommend adjustments to license allocations and provide guidance on license utilization strategies.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of licensing agreements, renewals, and relevant customer information. Generate reports and metrics to track license utilization, revenue, and compliance status.
