Are you someone who can:

- Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Support executives with financial and strategic planning activities and execute relevant reports, presentations, speeches and other written material
- Perform research and analyses to provide key strategic business insights for input into business decisions
- Manage relevant strategic implementations against project plans to ensure delivery targets are met and provide operational and technical support to management of function
- Facilitate strategic engagements to critically analyse and enhance proposed operational risk and business strategies and implementation plans to deliver on business objectives
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG
- Assess own performance through seeking timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
- Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
- Focus on tactical service plans to deliver and continuously provide a consistent, seamless and positive customer experience - Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness, and report on variances
- Finance/Economics or relevant Business-related Postgraduate Degree
- Preferred Qualification - CA (SA) / CFA
- Experience - 3 to 5 year’s experience in a similar environment
- Additional Knowledge - Proven experience as a Strategic Planner or Business Consultant
- Understanding of market research and Data Analysis
- Business operations and procedures
- Financial risk management and financial performance measurement within a retail bank
- Excellent Graphical and presentation skills
- Project management
- Operational Risk Management
