**Overview**:
Reporting to the Head of Legal, the incumbent will be responsible to assist in a variety of assigned legal projects while acting as counsel on basic issues involving company compliance with governmental and regulatory standards as well as the reviewing legal documentation and providing appropriate action.
**Qualifications**:
- LLB qualification is essential
- Admitted Attorney is advantageous
**Experience**:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a legal environment
- Experience preparing legal reports
**Duties**:
- Perform legal research
- Conduct client interviews and maintain client database
- Summarise cases and prepare reports for the legal team
- Conduct research, investigating facts and developing arguments
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, depositions and pleadings
- Preparation and filing of documents with relevant legal entities
- Organising and archiving documents related to completed or ongoing cases
- Provide timely updates of changes in legal framework
