**Internal Sales (Metal Sector) - Bellville, Cape Town.**:
Do you have a minimum of 3 years experience preparing quotes for the manufacturing of steel items according to client specifications?

Our client in Bellville requires an Internal Sales consultant to take down briefs from clients, guiding them on alternative product options and making sure that these items are manufactured accordingly.

A technical or engineering background is required as drawings have to be interpreted correctly and re-drawn for accurate quoting.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Valid code 8 driver’s license COMPULSORY
- Matric or National Diploma highly advantageous
- Estimating experience in a Technical and/or Engineering background
- CAD (2D and 3D) experience
- Computer Literate (strong Excel skills)
- Strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Confident to handle stressful situations and demanding clients
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well in a diverse team

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Meet clients face-to-face and advise on products and services offered
- Draw up quote according to client’s project requirements
- Monitor customer trends and follow up if there are changes
- Manage client orders from start to completion
- Accountable for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and providing timeous feedback
- Manage existing client orders and take on new ones
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers throughout the year
- Contribute to team goals and effort by supporting the team as required
- Provide an Express Service as and when required
