**Responsibilities**:

- The duties/tasks of the function include but is not limited to:_
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries;
- Manage Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset control and revenue recognition;
- Management of all admin duties including office admin;
- Manage and mentor junior personnel in the accounting department with key objectives to be achieved;
- Maintain a system of control over all daily transactions;
- Preparing the management reports for the companies monthly by the deadlines allocated by executives;
- Ensuring excellent Finance reporting quality for all group companies;
- Preparing all monthly GP reconciliations and questioning any discrepancies;
- Preparing all monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documents keeping to strict deadlines allocated;
- Preparing weekly projections and participate in the weekly operational meeting to present and discuss;
- Analyse and control revenue imports and questioning all variances, while ensuring prompt collection of accounts receivable;
- Analyse and control expenses ensuring expenses align to budgets, while ensuring all payments are made timeously with the appropriate approval;
- Ensuring that daily processing is kept up to date to ensure that weekly recons are communicated in a timeous manner;
- Drive usage of our internal ERP system (Autotask), assisting with internal processes to ensure a smooth handover of items between different departments;
- Maintaining the payroll and accurately preparing the monthly reports to be used to make staff and statutory payments.
- Working with the HR Lead to ensure the successful submission of Employment Equity, Compensation Commission, and SETA Reports.
- Assisting the Finance Director with the external auditor reviews to ensure correct & accurate year end financials within budget.

**Inherent Requirements of the Job**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- SAIPA Articles completed
- 4+ years of accounting experience, which includes at least 2 years of team management
- Thorough understanding of accountancy
- Payspace and Xero experience advantageous
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and values analytical thinking
- High attention to detail
- Self starter, who takes initiative and is goal driven
- Motivated and Resilient
- Strong leadership capability
- Willing to travel

**Salary**: Up to R40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rosebank, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Management: 2 years (preferred)
- Finance: 4 years (preferred)
