**The main purpose of this position is**:
To ensure the acquisition of new members for Revive Fitness Studio Thohoyandou - through the effective management of specific monthly sales targets by membership consultants - and the maintenance of service excellence and relationship building with current as well as potential members.

**Sales Function**

(a) Ensure the setup of a functional sales team, i.e.: recruitment of competent sales consultants

(b) Ensure the conduct of sales skills training - ensuring sufficient knowledge and skill to perform operational sales tasks

(b) Ensure ongoing achievement of individual monthly sales targets

(c) Ensure ongoing training and testing of product knowledge

(d) Ensure the conduct of effective membership sales for gym members by consultants

(e) Ensure sufficient technical knowledge and skill to perform operational tasks

(f) Keeping abreast of current developments and trends in the industry

(g) Ensure all individual and business sales targets are met on a monthly basis

(h) Effectively manage daily activities of Sales Consultants

(f) Responsible for the effective management of all sales administration

**Marketing / Promotions**

(a) Compile an effective marketing strategy, reflecting on aspects such as: market share, proposed increase of market share; as well as current competitors

(b) Responsible for the development of an effective marketing plan with regard to various marketing activities in order to secure membership growth

(c) Compile and implement an effective advertising campaign - using variousmedia options

(d) Ensure the effective management of a branding campaign to secure the “movement gyms” as a household brand

(e) Responsible for networking and liaising with relevant to enhance prospective membership growth

(f) Ensure collaborative relationships are built and maintained with both current and prospective marketing partners

**Training and Development**

(a) Ensure all employees are trained with regard to their respective job function

(b) Where necessary, ensure technical training is conducted in order to provide a specialist service to members

(c) Ensure employees are trained on all Movement (as well as other related) policies and procedures

(d) Where necessary compile relevant gym specific policies and procedures

(e) Ensure all policies and procedures are being adhered to

(f) Ensure effective recording of training conducted

**Staff Management**

(a) **Daily Administration**:
Responsible for compiling staff shift rosters

Ensure timeous and effective management of all day-to-day admin related to HR

Ensure regular staff meetings are conducted and effectively managed

Ensure attendance registers are timeously and accurately completed

Ensure all staff documentation is forwarded to HR for processing - timeously

(b) **Recruitment**:
At all times - responsible for ensuring that all recruitment is done

Policies and procedures, in terms of advertising, interviewing, selection and appointment

(c) **Performance Management**:
Responsible for the effective management of performance and the timeous conducting of performance reviews

(d) **Discipline**:
Responsible for ensuring that sound industrial relations practices are followed within the Division - which at all times conform to the requirements of the LRA and the relevant policies and procedures

(e) **Training and Development**:
Ensure the identification of individual training and development needs of staff - and ensure the scheduling of relevant training courses - as per the training policy and procedure

**Service Providers**

(a) Monitor and maintain collaborative relationships with all service providers - ensuring agreement on expectations, responsibilities and deliverables of all parties:

- Payroll Administration
- Human Resources

(b) Where necessary, take appropriate action to realise mutual goals

(a) Ensure effective decision making in routine as well as complex situations

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

**Minimum qualifications**:
Matric or equivalent working experience

At least 4 years’ experience working in a commission based, sales environment

**Skills**:

- PC Literacy: Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact on all levels
- Exceptional sales skills
