Junior Cad Technician

Our client is looking for a Junior CAD Technician to work in their development team to create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by our internal project team and designers and make modifications to existing drawings. This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

Your role will include:

- Liaise with engineers, manufacturers, and designers to understand their requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction suppliers.
- Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
- Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols.
Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction, and installation.
- Maintain accurate records.

**Skills**:
Proficient in AutoCAd

Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

Understanding of building design

High level of mathematics

Ability to work as part of a team

Outgoing and confident - good with people

Proactive and able to solve problems

High attention to detail, agile and able to make decisions

Ability to plan own workload and to plan, organise and deliver to tight timescales when necessary

**Requirements**:
**Education/ work experience**:
AutoCAD Certification

Experience in a design environment will be advantageous
