**Job Purpose**:
The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government (WCG) has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to support the evaluation and research service within the context of a provincial evaluation system towards an advance and responsive Provincial Data Office. This post is based in Cape Town.
**Minimum Requirements**:
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher); A minimum of 3 years management level experience in evaluations, stakeholder relations and programme and project monitoring.
**Recommendation**:
Experience working in Data and Evidence systems.
**Key Performance Areas**:
Support the following: Institutionalisation of the province-wide evaluation system for the WCG aligned to the National Evaluation System (NES); The evaluation and research services integrative with other data and evidence services in the Provincial Data Office. Development, adoption and maintenance of evaluative guiding frameworks; Facilitation of capability development for responsive evidence methods using community of practices to increase the use of the data and evidence; Drive the dissemination, communications and advocacy for data and evidence services; Coordination of a Community of Practice for data governance within the WCG and with external stakeholders; Collaboration with WCG departments, local and international stakeholders and partners to ensure best practice alignment.

**Remuneration**:
All-inclusive salary package of R 744 255 per annum (Salary level 11).
