**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Employee Relations management
? Assist and resolve employee queries, requests, and concerns
? Conflict management and mediation
? Support internal communication
? Counsel and coach employees on a variety of both personal and business related
matters
- Coach and support management by advising on internal processes, policies, procedures,
labour law and employee relationship management
- Conduct labour relations processes as per Company policy and SA labour law including:
? Disciplinary hearing management
? Compile warnings,
? Conduct performance consultations,
? Manage retrenchments and incapacity processes
? Manage grievance process
? Compile all required paperwork for processes
? Minute consultations/meetings
- Prepare for and represent the Company at CCMA
- Schedule and manage quarterly WRC meetings
- HR system management (S-cubed)
? Load, terminate and manage employee status in the HR System
? Capture all payroll information into the system
? Assist with leave queries and functions
? Capture and manage training, performance and IR data in the system
? Draw and analyse system reports as required
- Analyze and report on a variety of HR metrics across the business both ad-hoc and on a
monthly basis
- Collate HR information
? For payroll purposes
? As required throughout the business for various reasons and projects
? Complete employee files both electronically and manually
? Complete monthly HR filing
- Accountable for the full induction and onboarding process
? Scheduling meetings
? Welcoming new employee
? Ensuring paperwork is complete
? Presenting induction material
- Full management of employee exit procedures
? Conduct exit interviews
? Ensure resignations and termination paperwork is complete
- Manage Company Employment Equity
? Co-ordinate committee meetings
? Minute meetings
? Ensure committee documentation is signed
? Complete all forms for DoL
- Complete HR tasks on key strategic projects to ensure successful implementation
- Employee experience, event, anniversary and gift management and co-ordination
- Covid management
? Assist in managing positive Covid Cases
? Collect data and compile vaccination lists
? Conduct contact tracing
? Produce reports as required
- Support and assist HR Specialist
? Assist with the recruitment function as necessary
? Assist with the training function as necessary, including the WSP
- Set-up and conduct HR surveys as required
- Compile and check data/ information for Company newsletter, rewards and presentations
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale
and increase productivity and retention
- Champion Company culture and values
- Research HR trends and best practice to suggest new HR strategies
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric
- Relevant Tertiary qualification preferably an HR Diploma OR Degree
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position
- Vaccination Certificate Required
- Must understand SA labour and employment
- Must understand SA labour and employment law
- Own transport and valid driver’s license
- Excellent time management, well organized and planned i.e., deadline driven and able to
prioritize a high workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Customer Service orientated
- Can manage a high stress and pressurized environment
- Excellent communication skills (able to communicate with a diverse range of people at all
levels of an organization)
- Business writing skills are important
