Our client has an opportunity available for a Logistics Coordinator/Manager based in Silverton.

**Requirements**:

- Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics Management.
- Previous work experience in the Logistics Industry.
- Automobile Industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- particularly MS Excel.
- Fluency in English and any other languages are an asset such as Afrikaans and Spanish.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the logistics operations
- Receive customer demand and verify accuracy.
- Support purchasing to plan raw material requirements based on demand and in line with production requirements - avoiding excess stock / MUDA.
- Support the full supply chain of import/export as required.
- Ensure on time in full deliveries of raw materials by working in close collaboration with Purchasing.
- Support the project team in planning of RM requirements as well as stock builds run in/run out programmes specific to new project launches / run outs of existing projects or running engineering changes.
- Ensure incoming raw material quality procedures are followed as per internal procedure.
- Ensure maintenance of required finished good stock levels in line with business objectives.
- Ensure on time in full deliveries to customers.
- Manage and lead Production planning and Data control
- Re-engineering / Optimization in order to improve the process & make it efficient
- To ensure real time tracking of data and visualization, escalation as necessary
- To manage 5S and ensure Safety
- To ensure real time invoicing and record keeping
- To study & introduce continual cost optimization initiatives.
- To ensure training and development of team members.
