Our client, one of the top retail banks, is looking for 2 Data and Report Analysts of 5+ years of Data warehouse experience, and ideally with the following core skills:
**Technical Knowledge/Skills**:

- Knowledge of SDLC, Unit Testing, Database structures, Technical Change Control
- Technical stack (database platform, data movement and reporting)
- Data modelling
- Data transformation and transfer (ETL)
- SAP HANA (SQL)
- MS SQL Server (SQL)
- Change Data Capture (CDC)
- SAP Power Designer - Documentation (Data Asset Modelling)
- Confluence - documentation

**Key Functions**:
The Analyst will be required to do the business requirement analysis, followed by data analysis and from there generate the technical designs. This will be followed by a walkthrough of the solution must be done with the development team.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Perform all duties assigned and prioritized with Business & EIS management with primary focus on the building of bank client and product demographics data assets for consumption by the bank analytics and self-service data analysis community
- Lead an initiative from start to finish including consultations with various stakeholders including Business, Functional & Technical teams
- Data sourcing, cleansing & analysis making use of best practices to achieve the Bank’s Data Strategy
- Data Modelling
- Data Asset design and specifications
- ETL specifications using SAP Power Designer
- Testing of Data Assets & ETL’s which have been developed
- Participating in quality control and review processes in the team
- Teaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge with the team
- Adhoc data extraction and analysis

**Education and Experience**:

- At least 5 years in Data warehouse experience.
- BSc/BCom Computer Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Engineering.
- Several years of relevant IT and business/industry work experience required.

**Salary**: From R400.00 per hour
