**CATERING/RESTAURANT SECTOR CO-ORDINATOR/ORGANISER**
**Area: Western Cape (based in Cape Town) 6 MONTH Fixed Term Contract**
**The University and Allied Workers Union (UAWU) is looking for an Catering Sector Co-Ordinator/ Organiser in Western Cape, to join its team of organisers across the country. The main role of an organiser is to recruit and service members and assist the Union in serving its vast membership and ensure compliance within the regulatory framework of The Catering and Restaurant Industry**
**An Organiser must have**:
**Requirements**:
**- Matric**
**- 1 experience of Organising, servicing and recruiting within the catering sector**
**- Computer literacy (Excel and Word)**
**- Good knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EEA, OHSA, Catering Collective Agreement and Department of Labour Compliance process and complaints process**
**- Ability to handle cases from Company grievance level up to CCMA**
**- Good interpersonal skills**
**- Good numeracy skills**
**- The ability to work under pressure and to be a team-player**
**- The ability to work under mínimal supervision and paying attention to detail**
**- Valid Code 08 driver’s license (NB None Negotiable)**
**- Ability to submit monthly drafted reports to the Secretary on activities**
**Basic plus rapid growth potential**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From R4,500.00 per month
