**Marketing Officer (M/F/d)**: full time - unlimited

**Your Tasks**:
**Objectives**
The Marketing Officer will develop, manage and administer all external marketing activities for JUWI South Africa across multiple programs and channels, working closely with all teams. Line management reporting to the Administration & Internal Communications Manager and functional reporting to the Finance Director EMEA.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement and execute a marketing strategy in support of JUWI South Africa’s objectives.
- Serve as the voice of marketing across all functions by communicating important information about company offerings.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, trends and news relevant to the brand to position content strategies accordingly.
- Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate all marketing campaigns across all channels.
- Ongoing media liaison with journalists to raise awareness of JUWI as a resource for information and comment on renewable energy issues.
- Ongoing scanning of profile building and interview opportunities for JUWI experts.
- Proactive development and distribution of appropriate media releases adapted and distributed to target media.
- Produce content, social media calendars, schedule and manage all social media platforms.
- Provide any external agencies with detailed briefs of projects and manage projects to completion.
- Preparation and finalization of all media related content.
- Develop and execute ad hoc campaigns as required by the business.
- Manage and optimise Google Adword campaigns.
- Maintain the company website ensuring information is updated and functionality working correctly (Typo3).
- Develop and update marketing materials (e.g., newsletters, brochures, presentations, banners etc.)
- Maintain the events calendar.
- Plan, organise, implement, and coordinate external events (e.g., conferences & exhibitions, client events, webinars, plant inaugurations etc.)
- Prepare the marketing budget on an annual basis and monitor monthly.
- Liaise with the Corporate Communications team at our Head Office in Germany,
- Collaborate with the Administration and Internal Communications Manager

**Your Profile**:
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant Degree/Diploma in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- 4-5 years’ work experience in a marketing role.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and editorial skills to write, edit, publish and share engaging content with the ability to distil complex ideas into accessible copy for different audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation, and project management skills required.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of digital marketing is essential (up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement).
- High attention to detail.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Can-do attitude with a highly organised and structured work approach.
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
- Comfortable working across countries, cultures and time zones.

**Desirable Attributes**
- Digital photography, basic Photoshop/photo editing skills, and basic video creation/editing skills are a bonus.
- Graphic design skills, desktop publishing (Adobe InDesign/Photoshop) or similar.
- Experience with content management systems (Typo3, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM
- Well networked with relevant industry media.
