**Qualifications and Experience**: - A Degree/Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Health & Safety or Environmental management or equivalent (NQF level 6 relevant qualification) essential. - Minimum 5-6 years of experience at a management/supervisory level within a Distribution Centre operation - Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in facilities management - Experience in SHE legislation, Distribution Centre Processes and Risk Assessments - Formal Training completed in Fire Fighting, First Aid and/or as a Health Safety Representative essential - Ability to self-manage, motivate and independently drive performance in a challenging environment - Ability to work with management to identify shortcomings and introduce changes as and when required to improve the SHE environment - Proven ability to manage relationships with 3rd party service providers
**Competencies**: - Proven ability to manage relationships with 3rd party service providers - High levels of integrity, diligence and commitment - Excellent administration skills - Excellent computer literacy
