Community Content Editor

**The Opportunity**:

Our mandate within the Growth Group of OfferZen is to engage and grow our community of developers and companies by engaging them with valuable tech career content, events, reports, and tools.

We are looking for a passionate editor who enjoys working with people, excels at editing and helps others find their voice. The Community Content Editor works closely with software developers in the tech community to help them write about their experiences and learnings.

**What you'll do**:
If you enjoy working with people and helping people achieve their true potential, then this is the role for you. As Community Content Editor, you'll be taking software developers from the community step by step through the writing process, all the way from ideation to the finished piece, to help them share their experience with the rest of the community and level up their writing skills.

You'll be in a lot of meetings from intro chats to working through the different drafts with contributors. You will be doing more than editing, you will be coaching them through the process and helping them create high-quality content.

**You'll be a great fit for this role if you have**:

- 4+ years experience as a content editor
- Interest in the tech and recruitment industries
- Experience in content marketing
- Editing skills - turning contributor writing into world-class content marketing
- Coaching ability - excitement to teach people a new approach to writing
- Communication skills - excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to unpack complex concepts and translate them into compelling content
- Great people skills - warm, confident, friendly
- Structured and process-oriented - you ensure that you are adequately prepared for each stakeholder interaction, and can work in a process-driven manner
- Experience in a start-up would be beneficial
