To assist the Environmental Officer with performing key functions involved in environmental management, and to provide support and assistance in achieving environmental management.

Required Outputs: functional
- Assist in environmental audits and inspections
- Assist in environmental monitoring and reporting
- Monitor maintenance of conservation areas and buffer zones
- Investigate and manage pollution incidents
- Monitor alien vegetation management programme
- Monitor inspection of the marine pipeline patrol
- Communicate and liaison with service providers
- Issuing work permits and risk assessments to contractors
- Overseeing micro departmental projects
- Partake in weekly SHE inspections

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric / Grade 12.
- Degree or diploma in Environmental Management/Science or NQF equivalent.
- Drivers licence
- Environmental Management understanding
- Environmental monitoring and auditing understanding
- Data collection skills
