B-bbee Verification Analyst

**Role Profile**
This role involves the verification of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Status of small, medium, and large companies

**Scope of Work**
Perform B-BBEE verifications for companies in accordance with the DTI’s B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, all sector codes and internal verification methodology.

B-BBEE verification is very similar to financial audit and requires attention to detail, analytical ability, and an understanding of financial statements.

Conduct Briefing meetings, pre-verification and onsite meetings without supervision and build strong relationships with clients.

Interpret, verify, and communicate all elements of the B-BBEE scorecard including complex ownership structures.

Prepare a complete verification file to a high standard and conclude on the results.

Present findings to the Technical Team

Deal with objections and answer challenging questions.

Deal with conflict situations.

Answer questions from clients on all BEE related verification and implementation issues.

**Qualifications**
Either of the following:
B.Com Accounting,
Financial Degree / Diploma
B.Com Internal Auditing

**Experience**
2 - 3 years B-BBEE Experience
Have in-dept knowledge of the B-BBEE Codes and Sector Codes
Experience in dealing with clients and with good interpersonal skills.
