**Role Overview**:
Pre-Primary educators at Maragon Olympus create learning experiences that stimulate and grow individual talents while preparing children for formal schooling. They play a key role in maximizing each child’s **personal, physical, and psycho-social development** within a safe and Christ-centered environment.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
Pre-Primary Educators are expected:

- To deliver **future-focused education** where learners are motivated, inspired, and challenged through **play-based** and **inquiry-based learning**.

They will be accountable for:

- ** Academic Delivery** - Planning and facilitating engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
- ** Academic Assessment & Reporting** - Observing, documenting, and reporting learner progress with accuracy and insight.
- ** Student Behaviour Management** - Creating a nurturing, structured, and respectful classroom environment.
- ** School Brand Ambassadorship** - Representing Maragon Olympus with pride and excellence in all professional capacities.
- ** Administration** - Maintaining accurate records and fulfilling administrative requirements.
- ** Health & Safety** - Ensuring learners’ safety and wellbeing at all times.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- A Post-Matric Certificate (NQF level 5) in **Early Childhood Development** (minimum) OR
- An undergraduate degree (NQF level 6) in **ECD** or **B.Ed (Foundation Phase)**.
- A PGCE would be necessary if the degree is deemed suitable (e.g., Psychology).
- ** SACE certification** and valid **Police Clearance** (non-negotiable).
- ** 2-5 years teaching experience** in Pre-Primary or Foundation Phase.
- Strong **computer and digital literacy**.
- Valid **First Aid certification**.
