**Your Purpose**

Reporting into the Performance Marketing Lead, this role takes the lead for all aspects of SEO across a portfolio of leading African travel brands. You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing scalable, high-impact SEO strategies that directly drive visibility, traffic, and revenue.

You’ll work closely with our performance, content, and UX teams to bring the SEO roadmap to life. From audits and optimisation to content planning and link building, you’ll own the organic channel from top to bottom.

**Your Core Responsibilities**:
**Technical SEO**
- Audit and resolve site health issues (indexing, speed, CWV, schema, crawl depth, etc.)
- Optimise internal linking, site architecture, and on-page SEO fundamentals
- Manage GSC, GA4, Tag Manager, Ahrefs, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, and other tools

**Content Optimisation & Keyword Strategy**
- Map and implement keyword strategies for new and legacy content
- Identify and resolve cannibalisation, gaps and underperformance
- Brief, QA and optimise content for search intent and rankings

**Authority Building & Outreach Support**
- Ideate and assist in the creation of link-worthy content and campaigns
- Collaborate on digital PR initiatives and outreach where needed
- Monitor and report on domain authority, backlink quality and visibility

**Cross-functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with the content team, UX, devs and performance marketing
- Stay in sync with broader marketing and brand initiatives
- Share updates and learnings with the team

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- 10+ years of practical SEO experience
- Track record across technical, on-page and off-page SEO
- Solid HTML/CSS/JS knowledge for SEO context
- Strong communicator, both in teams and independently
- Agency and in-house experience preferred
- Comfortable with hybrid work (3 days per week in office)
- Familiarity with multilingual SEO
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted SEO workflows
