**Requirements**:

- 3 5 years experience in a related role within the food manufacturing environment
- Diploma Procurement Management or similar qualification
- Degree (Procurement or Commercial) an advantage
- Must have an understanding of HACCP principles
- Need to have an understanding of quality and food safety requirements for a Quality Management System
- Must have knowledge of INCO Terms
- Understand legal issues pertaining to procurement and have working knowledge of BBBEE Legislation
- A basic understanding of economics (Exchange Rates, Indexes, PPI tables, etc.)
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Computer skills must include:

- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- SAP
- E-CAPEX
- Must be able to write Reports to present information
- Be able to conduct formal meetings
- Plan, develop and deliver presentations

- Supervise work unit to achieve work unit objectives (individuals and teams)
- Plan, organise and monitor work in own area of responsibility
- Communicate the unit results and achievements to the team
- Manage and report individual and team performance

Industrial Relations**:

- Ensure discipline is maintained in department (Time Management, Absenteeism, Overtime, Misconduct, etc.)
- Resolve grievances and disputes

Training and Development**:

- Conduct on-the-job training, assessment and coaching
