Industrial Relations Consultant

A firm practicing in industrial relations, human resources and employment law in Johannesburg is seeking to appoint an Industrial Relations Consultant. Professional services and advice to be provided to clients in line with prevalent employment laws and good practice in Gauteng and outer lying areas.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Providing advice and assistance on all current matters in the workplace related to relevant employment legislation.
- Chair internal client disciplinary or similar enquiries.
- Review and assist in developing client policies, processes, related documents, agreements and contracts.
- Participate in shop floor engagements with organized labor and / or workplace forums with client.
- Assist and guide clients on section 21 recognition processes and disputes related thereto.
- Assist and guide clients on section 197 and 189 processes.
- Participate in the sales and marketing of the business with a focus on growing the business.
**Desired Experience and Qualifications**:
- Grade 12.
- Legal qualification or similar qualification in Employment law or industrial and labor relations.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the above mentioned responsibilities.
- Minimum 3 years direct exposure, with a proven track record, in managing and attending to CCMA or BC processes on behalf of clients.
- Sales and marketing exposure will be an added advantage.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
**Package**:
- Market related salary and competitive commission structures on new business.
- Fuel card.
- Cellular phone allowance.

**Salary**: From R30,000.00 per month
