**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

To purchase goods, materials and services to ensure the company’s operational needs are met.
**POSITION**

The position will involve the following responsibilities:

- Timeous buying of all needed material that needs to be procured.
- Ensure accuracy of orders placed.
- Ensure suppliers receive and acknowledge all orders placed.
- Ensure best prices and lead times are obtained from suppliers.
- Make informed decisions relating to price, lead time, ROE, fixed pricing etc.
- To send out RFQ request to suppliers.
- To formulate costing spreadsheets with regards to the relevant projects.
- To procure for orders received from clients.
- To assist in sourcing stock at the best price and shortest lead time.

**PERSON**
- A Person who can handle work pressure.
- Must have good communication skills over all levels of colleagues and clients.
- Must have good administration skills and discipline.
- A person with problem solving skills.
- Must be able to **work accurately (Essential)**
- Good numerical ability
- Possess very good computer skills.
- Strong excel skills.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Matric
- 2 years general administration experience
