A great opportunity exists within a tender based organisation based in Randburg Johannesburg for a Tender Estimator.

**Overall Job Function**:
The Tender Estimator will be reporting to the Operations Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for the quality of all elements of the tender submission, including written documentation and presentations. They ensure all tender documentation is clear, concise and persuasive.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Compiling daily reports on tender progress.
- Advise and alert the Tender Manager on all certification requirements on the Group when identified as a short coming.
- Complete construction tender BOQs
- Complete facilities management and cleaning and hygiene tender pricing schedules and all other technical requirements.
- Complete security sector tender pricing schedules and all other technical requirements.
- Obtain all certifications for all relevant services in the group portfolio.
- Ensure that all tenders completed have been shared with Tender Administrators.
- Furnish tender administrators with the latest partners information (contact list with details).
- Monitors the tendering process and receiving timely feedback from site or external partners. Keeping Tender Manager / QA up to date.
- Composition of tender documents for each tender to suit the tender requirement.
- Compile all method statements; programmes and CVs as per tender requirements.
- Check for all compliance certifications as required for all tender submissions.
- Liaise and followup with subcontractors and JV’s partners when working on a collaboration tender submission.
- Liaise on the pricing with external parties and technical line managers.
**Skills and Experience**
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as a tendering experience in various economic sectors.
- B.Eng/BSc/B-Tech/N. Dip Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Project Pricing experience essential.
- Ability to review a tender, decide on required input, engage with relevant parties and compile the technical and commercial response for the required Scope of Work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work under very mínimal supervision and with tight deadlines
