**Position: Armed Response Officer**

**Location: Gauteng / Cape Town**

**Job Type: Full-Time / Fixed Term**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Grade C accreditation and registration with the relevant security authority.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the security industry.
- Valid SAPS Firearm competency certificate for handgun, shotgun, and self-loading rifle (minimum 2 years).
- Business Purpose certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- No criminal record or pending cases.
- Willingness to undergo regular criminal background checks.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
- Must reside in the area where the position is advertised.
- Must be under the age of 25 years.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Report writing and documentation.
- Safeguarding clients and their assets.
- Conducting regular patrols.
- Managing access control at client premises.
- Managing and directing people in case of emergencies.
- Completing relevant registers and logs.
- Performing standard duties as per training and operational requirements.

**Core Competencies**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and execute tasks efficiently.
