Genesis Medical Scheme is seeking to appoint a Senior Clinical Escalations Consultant, to effectively review clinical escalated queries, including Hospital Admissions and Special Cases.

You must be highly skilled and experienced, with a strong background in ICU, including trauma, and theatre experience. You should have a passion for improving outcomes, through effective clinical escalation processes.

You must have the ability to express themselves professionally in verbal and written communication.
- Manage all clinical escalated queries
- Assist and coach the consultants with clinical aspects
- Professional communication skills, written and verbal
- Possess perform ad-hoc Clinical Investigations/Reports
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Administrational skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- MS Office proficiency
- Well groomed with high level of emotional intelligence

Registered Nurse with post-basic nursing qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or higher with speciality being ICU, trauma and experience in theatre.

Extensive knowledge of case management, ICD10 Codes, CPT4 Coding.

Minimum 10 years working experience within a hospital environment.
