Executive: Distribution Support SPA Life

- Oversee the development and broad direction for Life Insurance distribution in SPA Life by:

- Setting strategic direction for distribution in SPA Life
- Managing a distribution support staff complement of 10 staff members
- Implementing fit for purpose distribution channels (agency, group risk and banca) and models by subsidiaries and associates, and aligned with the distribution strategic direction
- Assisting with building implementation plans for subsidiary and associate distribution businesses
- Providing leadership, consulting support and skills development to optimize sales channels in subsidiary and associate companies

Work with the SPA Life Risk & Compliance Officer to assist in embedding a culture of risk management, compliance and ethical business conduct throughout the SLPA Life Distribution network

Work with and guide the SPA Life Product development team and other product providers to ensure that products that are deployed in country are responsive to needs and strategic objectives

- Provide leadership and direction to the local and subsidiary stakeholders, teams and relevant role players
- Lead the implementation of the organisation’s desired values and culture
- Drive effective performance management, talent development & succession planning for continuous growth and development at a business, team and individual level

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Experience
- A relevant tertiary and post graduate qualification with 10 years corporate experience in a similar role
- Relevant Financial Services experience, preferably in sales distribution
- Completion of an Executive Leadership Development programme will be advantageous
- Strong people leader with management experience
- Experience in working with diverse business leadership teams would be an advantage
