Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Capture and process invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Load and manage payment transactions on Nedbank banking systems.
- Perform supplier reconciliations to ensure account accuracy.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Receive, Capture and Reconcile supplier invoices from suppliers
- Ensure that all the invoices on the statement have been captured, follow up with supplier and business on any outstanding invoices.
- Resolve queries from business, communicate with suppliers regarding any invoices delaying payments.
- Upload all payments Timeously and accurately
- Review the Supplier age analysis to ensure that the accounts are reconciled and paid on time. Resolve overdue accounts immediately.
- Review & match Invoices to Purchase orders daily
- Address all month end queries from the relevant business units.
- Ensure accuracy with capturing of invoice, checking that the company details and VAT are correct on invoice before Capturing on the system.
- Create and maintain list for all Sla & month end payments

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the property industry.
- Proficiency in MDA software (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines.
- Strong ability to work with high volumes and tight deadlines.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable function
- Excellent in managing larger volumes of paperwork
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Superb organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle several issues simultaneously
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with escalated issues

**Qualifications**

Education
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Financial Management / Administrative qualification will be an advantage and/or proven years of account payable functions, knowledge, skills and experience sufficient to be recognized as a qualification through - Recognition of Prior Learning
- Proficient on MS Office, especially with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel programs
