**Salary**: R20 000 - R30 000 per month, based on experience + tips

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and customer-focused waiters to join our team at Oku, located in the beautiful and renowned town of Franschhoek. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable dining experience.

**Please Note* **relocation and living in Franschhoek will be an advantage.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Serve food and beverages to guests with efficiency and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and ensure tables are set up according to standards
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns with professionalism
- Process payments and operate the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Ensure guests have a positive dining experience from start to finish

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- A passion for providing excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Must be well-presented and maintain a professional appearance
